Would you repaint or remodel some rooms in your house or apartment if you knew you were leaving in 2-3 years tops?

I'd paint but I wouldn't do any serious remodeling.

2-3 I would only paint nothing more, you don't want to over invest funds somewhere you don't plan on staying long term.

If I bought it and was going to rent it out later, I'd renovate around a year before leaving or shortly after

I'd paint and try to do small renovations. I definitely wouldn't take on huge projects.

Nah that's work for me and I'm lazy I'd like to do it with a more long term lease (5yr+)
