I am 20 and have a craving to get pregnant??

So I am only 20 years old, I have a loving boyfriend and I am a student. Since I was about 17 I have wanted kids, like now. Sometimes, when I have my period I imagine it being similar to pregnant pains and I rub my tummy and feel so warm inside as I cannot wait to be pregnant!! I am so young, everyone around me couldn't think of anything worse. But I have like an insane instinct type thing going on and I really want kids bad. 
Do you guys thinks it kind of abnormal for someone of my age to have this craving for kids of my own??

You're not crazy at all, baby fever is very real! Especially at this age. But just remember that having a baby is serious, and it's not exactly something you can take back. Not only are children your responsibility, they're a human life. You need to make sure that everything is set up before you should try to bring a child into this world. Of course it's best if a child grows up with two parents, so if you've got that going for your future child, that's awesome. Just be really really sure that the person you're with is right for you forever, because even if the two of you broke up, they would still be the child's father and they would be your coparent for life. 
Do you have a career? Are you making enough to pay rent in at least a 2 bedroom apartment? Can you pay for food for at least 2 people? Can you afford daycare, toys, clothes, dentist appointments, preschool, etc? Do you have healthcare/health insurance, car insurance, a phone plan, etc? 
Is your maturity level above average for your age? Are you past the point of wanting to go out every weekend? Of course parents have social lives too, but if your social life revolves around drinking, partying, and sleeping till 2 pm every weekend, you might want to wait a little. And there's nothing wrong with that! That's what your late teens/early twenties are for!
Of course there are millions of parents who make it work without these things, but I think they would all attest that it is much much harder to parent before you're ready. BUT, if you've asked yourself these questions and you really feel like everything is set for your child to have a good life, I don't think age is that big of a deal. It sounds like you're gonna love the hell of out your children whenever you have them, which is the most important factor! I'm sure they'll be super lucky to have you as a mom. I don't think it is abnormal at all! In fact, your body probably wants it just as bad as you do. Sometimes, I feel like I want a baby really badly too, (I'm 19) but for me right now is just not a good time to have one, so I'm waiting. The only thing to consider is making sure you would be able to create a stable environment (financially mostly) for you and your future children. It is a big commitment that will last a lifetime! For that reason, many choose to wait until they feel totally ready, so they dread it. Being a student might be difficult, but many do it! I think you have every right to feel whatever way you feel about having children and wanting them, just of course be ready if it ever does happen. I wish for fertility and happy babies for you! I think it's actually pretty normal...me and my sister both got pregnant at 19 and gave birth at 20. I'm now 22 and have 2 children under 2 ☺️ I've always wanted kids while I was reasonably young and after 4 miscarriages from the age of 16 to 18 I finally got my 2 beauties 💓

Me and my fiancé are 22 we've been trying for a baby for three years now so no your not young when your ready your ready. I think 20's are the best time to have a baby as 1. You have a better chance of pregnancy

Oh no, not abnormal at all. I've had baby fever hard for a long time now. Sometimes when l'd see the babies and toddlers at work l'd literally want to cry happy tears cause babies and kids are such sweet little miracles. Not sure why, my brain knows I'm not ready for that but my heart and hormones were going crazy. It almost hurt l wanted it so bad, but l'm not going to give into that until l know l'm actually ready. At least now l'm 22 (next week) and have graduated with my bachelors degree, even still though, completely not ready. You have so much time left in life for kids, if your brain knows the time isn't right then try your best to avoid it - enjoy your free time and your young years.

Some of us are ready young. It's all based on your maturity and personal preference. We got pregnant at 17 and I was ready for it, a little shocked but you know...other women are just getting pregnant in their 30s and terrified.
