My fiancé and I are both struggling with coming to a descion. We love the sound of the name! Votes appreciated!

As a teacher who gets to try to pronounce a hundred new names a year. I would pronounce Anya the way you want it said. I would have butchered Ania (probably a-knee-a). To be honest though, it would just be pronounced wrong once. Once she corrected me, I wouldn't mispronounce it again. So if it were me, I'd use whichever I liked better despite how people would pronounce it at first.

I would pronounce them differently too. Anya I would say ah-ni-ah,  And Ania I could be pronounced Ahn-ya....
