At 37 weeks and 4 days I came into be assessed as I had an awful head ache that would not leave and some pains in tummy, I went in thinking I would just get set home like always.

I got there at 9 and they took bloods and urine from me and said bloods look okay but urine is what we worrying about. It came back at 11:00 I was positive for preclampsia and was being induced! I was so scared and nervous for my son and leaving my two year old at home as she means the world to me and I have never left her before.

I was admitted at 4pm and was inserted with the balloons. At 3:00am the balloons fell out when I was on toilet and then I was then woken up at 5am to go to the birthing sweet to get my waters broken and get a drip in to start the process and oh my didn't that hurt and I nearly passed out from getting the drip in :(

I started getting two contractions in eight minutes for about two hours and they started to increase so much they told me that thus time round will be different as inductions and that drip makes the contractions a lot worse and they were right, I didn't have anything with my daughter I went all natural it was amazing, as soon as hut 7-8 cm with my son at about 1:00pm I asked for the epidural and immediately felt like I was a failure :( it was more so I was very tired and didn't get any rest the night before so it didn't help at all, as soon as that kicked in it was amazing and never felt so relaxed in my life and the best part was at 6:00 pm I began to push and I could feel everything again so I didn't miss out on feeling my son be delivered! And at 6:41 pm my son came out weighing 7.15 pounds at 37.5 weeks :) I love him so so much and couldn't be proud of my self
