Trouble breastfeeding?

Hey ladies, I need some advice. I'm having a hard time keeping up with my baby's feeding. Everytime I breastfeed it seems like I can't fill him up and he's still ravenous after. Any suggestions? He's a week and a half old.

He is clusterfeeding, which is nature's way of teaching your body how much milk to produce to meet his needs. Nurse him as much as he wants to, and know this won't last. Soon he will settle into a better routine, until the next growth spurt.

If he's a week and a half he's likely cluster feeding which is normal and expected. Just keep nursing nursing nursing and watch his diapers. As long as he has enough wet and dirty diapers then he is getting enough food. He may also be nursing for comfort which is also normal.
