Diagnosed PTSD

I was sexually molested twice when i was in seventh grade. Once by my guy bestfriend and the other time i got tagged teamed. All i recall thinking as to why it was happening. Why me? This was three years ago. Yesterday, i was diagnosed with PTSD. I was left untreated for three years thinking i was losing my mind. Thinking that it was just my anxiety that was at play. I thought that i surpassed it. To get diagnosed with PTSD was a complete shocker to me and I'm trying to wrap my head around it.
