LH Surge?

Question

Once I get a positive OPK....I know I am supposed to ovulate within 12-36 hours but if I am still testing then when do I know ovulation is over? Once I get a negative ovulation test?

You'll get your lh surge and it can become negative after that, then you ovulate, and should have fainter opks afterwards. Some times they detect ovulation occurring sometimes not. If you keep testing and having a positive opk every day then Id take a pregnancy test.

My surge lasted just over 24 hours. Now my OPKs have been negative. Your LH rises then falls after you ovulate. So, they really should go back to negative after you ovulate. Right? Lol. I'm new to all this opk stuff, but that's how I understood it.
