Has breastfeeding helped reduce your weight?

I weighed 120lbs pre pregnancy with my first and gained 20lbs. By 4-6 weeks of exclusive breastfeeding, I'd lost 35lbs and weighed 105lbs,  which is definitely too small for my height. So yeah... too much weight loss haha

I went back to pre pregnancy weight after 6 weeks and I was breastfeeding/pumping. I'm sure it wasn't totally the breastfeeding but I believe it did help a lot

Losing weight has always been nearly impossible for me. I work out regularly and still really struggle with losing weight. Breast feeding drained me - I was eating around 4000+ calories a day after giving birth and lost over 35 pounds the first month- ended up way below my pre-pregnancy weight and couldn't keep up.
