i hate the girl code. if you like a guy, you should go for it. that guy wasn't right for your friend, but he could be for you. i would be a super shitty friend if i kept my one of my friends from dating a person who could end up being the love of your life because my panties were in a twist. you really have no control over who you have feelings for. if you like him, don't let anyone tell you not to.

No? Your friend is over them, they move on, you both are interested— if all parties can be mature adults you'd be amazed at how "weird" a situation can be but they handle it perfectly well... I've seen it work out so many times because they all acted like adults. Immaturity is what ruins it.
