MIL has invited herself to babysit on a weekly basis
So last week my baby girl started teething, meaning I was more tired than usual, so my MIL, who has recently decided to take a day off work each week, offered to come spend the day with us on Wednesday to help me out so I could get a bit of rest. I did fairly enjoy being able to do my house chores in the morning without juggling my baby aswell as MIL just sat on couch and played with her, and I did have a short nap in the afternoon because I was pretty tired, but I generally don't nap very often (maybe once a week when baby does) because I don't feel very good afterwards anyway. Now because my MIL has already decided to take a day off work each week she's also decided that she'll spend that day off with us so that I can "get some sleep". I feel like I'm coping fairly well and my MIL tends to think I need help that I don't feel I need myself. I understand she just wants to help but I'd really rather not have to spend a whole day every week with her, or go for a nap I don't want because that's the reason she's there, but I'm not sure how to tell her that because she's a very sensitive person, and I think she enjoys having my baby all to herself when I sleep too lol. I wouldn't mind if she wanted to pop roundon her day off to have a coffee and catch up for a couple hours, but a whole day is a bit ridiculous when I don't feel I need that extra help :/ any suggestions on how to nicely put all of this to her??
