It depends on you. Can you remember to take a pill everyday at the same time? If not, then don't use the pill. The shot could go either way as far as whether or not you'll bleed, some people spot & that's all and others bleed heavy for months. And you have to remember to get the shot every 3 months. If you're okay with something being put inside your vagina, the IUD or something like it isn't a bad choice, you don't have to remember anything. I used the patch for a while and liked it because you only had to change it once a week, but I had a period with that (not sure if you're trying to avoid one or not). The bar I've heard good things about except one girl I know kept getting cysts from it. They all have their pros and cons, do some research and talk to your doctor. But honestly, "nothing" is a bad option if you're sexually active & especially if you don't use comdoms.

I have the patch. I had really weird periods, it brought them from 44 days apart to 28 days, lighter periods, no cramps at all anymore plus no babies!
