Am I right to be angry?

So my brother and his wife have just announced (at my baby shower) they are trying to have another baby normally I'd be thrilled for them. But since having my nephew 4 years ago they were dead set on not having anymore children. My brothers wife is a bit of a jealous person and I feel like she wants to have another baby to take some of my baby's spotlight away. Am I over reacting? Or am I right be be a little mad?

I would say that they def shouldn't have announced at your baby shower. That was a day about your baby. I would be upset also. As far as them having another baby to take the spotlight it's not impossible but it's not something I would be to angry about because if they want a baby they want a baby. Totally wrong time and place to be announcing though.

It was kinda rude that they did announce at your baby shower for sure but as far as to go bring another person into this earth over jealousy that's a bit extreme

They maybe shouldn't have announced at your baby shower, but they are adults and surely wouldn't have another child just to take away your spotlight. That seems a pretty big commitment just for a bit of attention :)
