period help

I got off the depo shot about 6 months now. My last period was June 9 only last two days sorry tmi but it was brown discharge and the I had light bleeding for maybe half a day then I was done. My cycle is only 21 to 22 days never late and right one time. This time it was 2 days late but I had cramping for those days. Then when I started I had pink spotting which I haven't never had before for half a day then red blood like your period. Is it normally to have your periods change like mine are after the depo shot? Does that maybe mean the depo shot is still active in my system? Body is still trying to adjust without it? Any advice would be great as we are trying but no lucky time after time 😔
