Glucose Test....to Eat or Not to Eat?!

Question

Can I eat before my glucose test (1 hour)?! Doctor never told me anything but when I looked it up some say to fast and others say eat high protein? Some even say to eat the way you normally would? Help?!

My doctor told me I could eat but avoid sweets & stuff. I ate chocolate for breakfast (huge craving for me that day😂) and past the test.  I however didn't eat anything else until my appointment that day. I'd just do whatever your doctor says.

I was told not to fast & to just not eat 1 hour prior to taking the test.

For my 1 hour test I was told to eat only a couple eggs and couple pieces of bacon that's it. Don't eat any bread products as they turn into sugar. I passed my test so I assume it worked to his eat that.

Just give your doctor a call. Some want you to, some don't. My doctor told me I didn't need to fast but no eating after I drink the stuff
