Leading up to a positive

I ALWAYS look for the posts from people who would tell us what happened from ovulation leading up to a positive test. Now that I am one of them I figured I would share.
Month 1 of trying I thought I did everything right! I took prenatals and vitex daily. I cut out caffeine. I worked out and ate healthy. I took Mucinex during ovulation, I tested twice a day for ovulation and had sex every day-sometimes twice a day-during my fertile week. Thought I felt all these symptoms and starting testing around 8dpo. Not pregnant.
Month 2 of trying I did nothing. I didn't track(I logged in Glow but moreso just because I like to be able to look back at it), I forgot to take my vitamins because I was in the middle of remodeling a house and moving. I ate what I wanted, I drank caffeine, and I didn't work out. We only had sex when I felt like it. Even when Glow said it was my fertile week I skipped about 3 days because I was just so tired from moving. Around what I guess would be 6dpo(last Tuesday) my left boob hurt pretty bad. As did my nipple which was odd but I didn't think anything of it. Then last weekend I got a terrible cold sore and my arms ached so bad. It felt like I did a 3 hour workout. Days passed and I figured AF would show up on time because I really didn't feel much of anything except some annoying cramps here and there. I'm a poas addict though so I tested Monday night and got a faint line!
I know it only took 2 months, we honestly thought it would take longer, but now I think people aren't kidding when they say it happens when you stop trying because that's how it worked for us.
Line progression is Monday-Wednesday night
