Is cramping normal in early stages of pregnancy?

I've taken multiple tests. Some are negative. Some are faint lines. However all the symptoms aside the throwing up is there and I'm having unusual cramping. It's on my left side and feels like a menstrual cramp with very very light spotting. Could this be just normal symptoms or could it possible an ectopic pregnancy ? Thanks for you input

I cramped from week 4-5.5. As long as you're not having a lot of pain anywhere else, don't have a fever, and aren't bleeding, yes, it's normal :)

It might be the sac that's left after ovulation. It will turn into a cyst called a corpus lutheum. If it's mild pain I wouldn't worry and if it is a corp lut it will go away when you have a period. It it because excruciating you should seek medical help.

I also had one sided cramping early in my pregnancy and my dr had me go to the er because one sided cramping is a symptom of ectopic pregnancy. I was fine but I think it would be a good idea to go to the dr to get a blood test and ultra sound to confirm the pregnancy and the location of it.

Is your pregnancy confirmed by your obgyn? Have you missed your period? If so, then your doctor should be the one answering the questions about ectopic pregnancy. Some cramp due to implantation and stretching, for some its an ectopic, also it could be a sign of period coming
