My sweet baby boy Taos was born at exactly 41 weeks. I went into the hospital with painful contractions lasting almost 2 minutes each but not consistent. The doctors wanted to send me home because I was only 3cm, but instead they moved me to a labor room because I had an appointment at that hospital in an hour and felt bad. It's a goo thing they did because 30min later I was at 8cm and was able to get an epidural in time. I pushed for about 35 minutes and out came my sweet pea!
