Glucose Test Failed Induction Question

I got word that I failed the one hour. It doesn't surprise me as I'm on Metformin for insulin resistance and have been for years. Apparently my numbers were supposed to be at 130 and it was 133 😒 I have to have the longer test done now. My doctor typically induces at 37 weeks if I don't pass. Being that my numbers were so close to normal, do you think I could talk him out of this? Do they do regular checks with ultrasound to make sure baby isn't too big (I think that's why they induce early because of baby's size)? Obviously I want my baby healthy and if it's comes down to that I'll be the first one to volunteer for induction but for numbers this low am I a bad person for not wanting induced?
