Just wondering if I could get some opinions on this... My boyfriend and I have been together for two and a half years. We are both twenty, he's almost twenty-one yet his parents still don't allow us to share the same bed. At his home I find it understandable being under their roof and all but at his flat they want him to sleep on the sofa if I stay, the same at my flat or my parents house. My parents are fine with us sharing a bed and don't mind us staying there alone but his don't want us to be in alone if he is staying. I find this odd as they've always left us in the house alone during the day even since I was seventeen and we were first dating so I don't understand why it's different overnight... Any thoughts on this? Is it normal or is there something we could do to show that we love each other and that although we are sexually active and it may not be what they'd prefer that it's our decision and we're safe about it.
