Vbac After Failed Induction?

Hi Ladies! 
Any second time moms out there trying for a Vbac? Specifically after a failed induction that resulted in a Csection? 
I'm trying for a Vbac. Dr won't let me go past 41 weeks and recommends a scheduled csection. But If I don't go into spontaneous labor before 41, i want to try to induce first. Curious is anyone is in the same boat or has had this experience?

My doctor said vbac depends 95% on why you had a cesarean in the first place. I am still a candidate because I dilated to a 10. My reason for cesarean was malpresentation of my first born and I labored too fast to get an epidural. I stand a good chance of vbac if blood pressure stays down and I have time to get an epidural. So that if I labor quickly again they can fix the presentation issue before fetal distress. But women that don't dilate or have other complications may not be a good candidate for a vbac.

I wish, this is my third baby, my youngest is 9 1/2 yrs old, my ob said there is no way I am having a natural birth, it would be too risky and i rupture my uterus or even worst because my two previous babies were both over 8lbs each and my sections we're only 18 months appart from each other!! If you can have one safely I say go ahead but if your doctor says its too risky I wouldn't do it!!

I had a successful vbac with my second after csection with my first. I was determined to give birth vaginally but was still required to schedule a cesarean so I scheduled at 41. I went into labor naturally (no induction) and my water broke on its own.. water broke at 3am and I was pushing at 10am. my son was born 5 days before his due date and about a 10 days before my scheduled csection.

My doctor hasn't even mentioned scheduling a c section, but this pregnancy has gone way better than my last. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia then induced which resulted in a c section
