So I have this bassinet and I feel like the cushion underneath is like not thick enough or even gonna be comfy for my baby boy.... what should I do? Maybe I'm over reacting since I'm a first time mom.

I don't have that exact one but the mattress in mine is thin and firm which is Reccomended. You dont want baby on a soft mattress, its not safe.

Babies need a firm surface to sleep on for safety. Thick, plushy, soft materials pose a suffocation hazard.

I know how you feel, but firm is safe and Im sure your basinnet has been tested to ensure the safety of the pad. There are lots of cultures around the world where people are perfectly comfortable sleeping on hard surfaces, so there isn't anything built in to human nature that requires a cushy mattress. By the time your baby has a preference, it'll be safe to get whatever mattress they want. ☺️

I have the Halo bassinet and I thought the mattress was too hard too. I bought a mattress pad for it from the same company. Maybe your bassinet has a separate pad to buy too?
