Has anyone else ever gotten their period like three times in one month after starting the mini pill?

The first month, I was all hormonal and crazy the first 2 weeks, then had a normal period. I didn't realize though, that the last week WASNT placebo, and I skipped them. June was my second month on it, and I swear I had a period like every other week. I already talked to my Gynecologist and she said breakthrough bleeding is normal.

I can't be on any estrogen based birth control for medical reasons, have had bad experiences with both IUD and Implant, and I have a latex allergy. I do know there are latex-free condoms...regardless this is the option I'm trying.

Has anyone else had this experience, because I feel super anemic and I am already taking an iron supplement.
