The average American lives to 75 so you want to die when your child is 20? Also particular disorders go up drastically: Down syndrome, autism, ADHD. Most women go through menopause at that time so to me it seems like hey maybe my body can't do this anymore. This is if you can even get pregnant. Your likelihood to get pregnant even after 35 drops a ton. Just imagine by 55.

I think it's selfish only bc my fiance is 20 his only sibling is 46 & his parents are both in there 60s and sick. They can't do hardly anything with him because of their age & conditions, I feel so bad for him because both my parents are so young even younger than his sibling & very active. They probably won't be able to do much with their soon to be grandson but my parents have literally all the time in the world 😫

I think with close watches by doctors and constant help it's your body and your choice. My grandmother lived till 96, so that's forty years together, even 20 years is enough. Older people adopt babies and no one bats an eye. Your life, your choice, but I think help from specialists should be involved before even ttc.

If someone gets pregnant at that age than so be it. And the "most people live to 75 do you want to die when your kid is 20" comment is ridiculous. 
Your parent can die at any age. I was 15 when my dad died at the age of 44. 
So that comment is dumb.
