Have you kept old communications from previous boyfriends, husband, partners?
I mean emails, text messages, social media messages, cards, letters, mementos, etc.
If so, do you ever look at them? Or are they just sort of kept unintentionally, and someday you'll junk them?
I'm particularly curious to hear if married people have kept old commmunications.
I think it's an interesting topic.
I was single for several before meeting my fiancé. I already tended to delete communications a little while after breaking up anyway, to help me move on. Hearing most of my exes had married and some had children I did a declutter of old letters I had left. It was quite cathartic and I felt a bit freer for it in some way. I just have memories and a few photos now, mainly because I'm in them. I hardly even look at those.
