HSG anyone?

Is this procedure painful? I go on Friday morning and I'm a little nervous. Any advice please 🙏

Take Advil or Tylenol an hour before. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I expected it to be.

Oh man. That's the one question you shouldn't ask on here lol you will get some horror stories..but truly everyone is different. I'm not going to lie...mine hurt bad but it was over so fast. I had a lot of bloating and cramping the next few days. I would definitely recommend taking 800 mg of ibuprofen before you go. Just breathe and tell yourself it's going to be over so quickly.

But it might not even hurt for you! I had a sonohysterogram and uterine biopsy too and some people said the biopsy was the most excruciating pain they've ever felt and I didn't even feel mine. It will be okay!

Depends on the person I guess, mine was excruciatingly painful, I had cramps times ten (wondering if this is what a contraction feels like) and nearly passed out when I left... thankfully it only lasted 30 minutes or so ... the lab tech told me that the more your period hurt the more likely you are to suffer 😱

Yes I will. I'm scared for the results and we're supposed to get my husbands results as well the same day. I took a blood test and ultrasound the doc said everything looked good just had low vitamin D I'm hoping that's all we need is vitamins. All this stuff is pricey. Can't believe how hard it all is.
