Hey ladies my poor 9 month old daughter has picked up HFM disease from daycare, she is covered in blisters and is very uncomfortable is their any home remedies to sooth the blisters that other moms have had secuss with?

My baby got it too when he was 7 month. No medication works on it. But what I did was to bathe him with Luke warm water and added lill bit of coconut oil to soothe the inflammation. It went away in less than a week. Make sure he drinks a lot of liquids to take out bacteria out of his body.

I used aveeno oatmeal powder for his baths and aveeno baby eczema cream on his skin after baths. He healed really quickly.

They told me to give her Tylenol for the pain and the fever, told me not to cover the blisters to let them air out but they didn't give any mouth wash

My son is 9 months and going through the same except I have NO CLUE where he got it from. I'm a stay at home Mom and whenever he got it, we didn't go anywhere besides the car. They first diagnosed him with herpangina because it was only in his mouth. Now he just has 1 tiny little bump on his middle finger. It's been 3 weeks now since he was diagnosed with herpangina and it is suppose to be GONE by now. Freaking out. He also bites the tip of his tongue. Every time he goes to sleep and every nap, he wakes up with a mouth full of blood and it goes everywhere. I'm not trying to scare you or anything but just wanted to let you know how my experience was going. Did they give you anything for it? They gave my son Magic Mouth wash for the pain and also Ibuprofen.
