Words of advice

Mo

I'm a first time mom and I took my 8 month old on her first road trip this past weekend. We went to the Taste of Chicago, I brung her wrap because everyone said I wouldn't need to pack her stroller because she'd be easy to carry in my wrap. WRONG! Not only was it super hot and exhausting to do all that walking but she ended up falling asleep. Which was super uncomfortable for the both of us. I felt so bad having her out in that hot sun with no shade and

heavy winds in certain areas. If I had her stroller she could have had shade #1 and #2 she could be laid down while I enjoyed my food and entertainment. I had fun don't get me wrong, but I was frustrated and very irritated at myself for not going with what I knew was best for the environment we were headed too.

Just words of advice for any first time moms, go with your first mind. Because 9/10 you know what's best for you and your baby. Make a list before leaving town and check it twice. We had to double back because I almost left her stored breastmilk. Oops
