Pink Sparkly Princess Girl

Hello! FTM here 20 weeks and 5 days pregnant

I found out I'm having a girl a few days ago at my anatomy scan and I'm even more impatient to meet her now!

Just wondering if anyone else is having a girl and feels the way I do about the over the top pink super girly clothes with slogans like "Mummy's little princess" etc? If that's your thing that's fine, but the last thing me and my husband want is to raise a little princess!

Girls clothes are cute don't get me wrong, I'm not going to go fully gender neutral (also nothing wrong with that!) but the sparkles and unicorns etc are just not for us.

Im a little bit worried we'll get lots of gifts like this as well now that we've announced the sex as well. Would it be too bratty to tell people to avoid those sorts of things? Don't want to seem ungrateful but also really don't want her to be wearing it or sleeping in a pink fluffy nursery!!

Already my MIL has said she's going to be filling our house with pink stuff! 😩
