Who should be serviced first?

When going to a fast food restaurant, who should be helped/serviced first?

First come first serve . Even though I know for a fact most fast food restaurants service drive thru customers first

When I worked at Burger King back in highschool, we prioritized our drive through since our goal was to get the orders out under so many minutes (I wanna say 2 but it's been awhile). But we had different people working the dining room than the drive through, so it's not as if the dining room people didn't get good service. The idea was that the drive through customers were more in a hurry, whereas the dine in people were there to stay awhile anyway.

When I worked at a Starbucks with a drive through, there were separate staff and espresso bars for each so neither came first, they ran concurrently. I don't know if fast food restaurants are the same way though.

Don't they have different teams for both things? Like one team on drive thru and one for sit in customers

When I worked at Starbucks it was drive through first. Then the customers inside.but that was only when we had one espresso machine cleaned/running. 
Typically the employees assume if your coming inside it's because "u have time to wait an extra 2-3 minutes" or your sitting down.
But usually "to go"/ drive through orders try to get put out and made right away.

Whichever takes faster. My manager always tells me to take care of to go orders before customers that are dining in. It makes everything go faster.
