When to take pregnancy test

Ok so let me explain in detail so you guys can have a clear understanding on what's going on with my body.. starting around the end of February was when my first period of the year ended and I didn't have another period since April 21st. Since April 21 to June 20th I've had a period. I had to go to the doctor and almost lost my life because I lost so much blood and had to have a blood transfusion. They gave me hormones to stop the bleeding "estrogen I believe" and it stopped on the 21st of June. I tested positive for ovulation on the 7th.. and bd on my ovulation days.. when can I test for pregnancy to see if it's positive?
