Straining along with screaming and crying.

My little guy is 5 weeks old and has been straining and crying a lot. More so recently. He did go pooh yesterday after about 48 hours and his stools were very liquidy loose.

Not sure if he's constipated(his stools would/should be formed or hard if he was). Seems to be hungry all the time though-maybe for comfort?

I don't want to keep feeding him if he's not passing any stools-makes me feel I'm over feeding him. He's fed more than 30mins at one time and an hour later for another 20+ mins. And then another hour and a half later 20+mins.

He's burping fine. But has been like this for a while. Having a hard time sleeping.

Is anyone else experiencing something similar? Or has in the past?

Please help.
