Fertile CM but ovulate later?

I recently came off the pill.....can you have fertile CM the day before the app is saying you ovulate...then it dries up later the next day(OD)....and then your temp dips and starts to rise two days after the supposed ovulation date?? I swear I ovulated on CD 14, but from the looks of it on my bbt chart there's a dip on CD 16 and then my temp started to rise. Could I have maybe ovulated later even though I had lots of egg white 2 days before hand? 🤔
