Shortening Cervical Length

Hello everyone,

I had a LEEP procedure done in December 2016. I am expecting my first child September 22nd 2017. The last few ultrasounds I've had, the doctor has been concerned with my cervical length. It has consistently shortened over the last month. He has me getting an ultrasound every two weeks now. Last week, he suggested that I have a round of steroid shots to help the baby's lungs develop faster, in case he comes early (2 in the buttocks, 24 hours apart). Just curious if anyone else made it full term with this issue? I go again next Friday at 31 weeks. I've been having some lower back pain recently and it even hurts to walk most days. I'm hoping he takes me out of work a bit early to be honest.
