Pill and sex?

So I finish my period tomorrow and will be taking the pill. I was told to take it for 7 days before sex. Same time everyday and I'm protected 99.9%. My question is that would I still get my husband to use a condom? Or am I fine without it? Any experiences?

If you are just starting the pill for the first time, yes, you need a backup method for the first seven days. Those first seven pills are crucial to stop you from ovulating, so protect yourself with condoms until that time period is over. After this initial month though,  you shouldn't need to worry about it every time you start a new pack. I was on the pill for 7 years and never did we use condoms except for cases like me taking an antibiotic or that initial time if just starting the pill.
