Unexpected birth

I had been having prodromal labor for 2 weeks. Had been sent home from the hospital twice. So I thought my baby was never going to come for real. I woke up about 4 in the morning it felt like something kicked my cervix. I laid there for a second thinking maybe my water broke. When nothing happened I got up to pee. I started having bad contractions, those kind that hurts deep in your hips and back. I tried laying in bed and going back to sleep but they were very painful and coming frequently. So I got up and thought I would take a bath and that might help some of the pain. Well I just got super hot in the bath and started sweating couldn't get enough water in the tub to even cover me enough to make a difference. So I got out. And at this point I'm like okay we gotta to go to the hospital. So I wake my husband (which is a nightmare to do) tell him it's time. And he was naturally all mad because I had a dr appointment in a couple hours anyway. So he was like can't you just wait. I told him we had to go now. Well by the time we get to the hospital I'm in so much pain I can't do anything. Of course the ob floor it's self was full so they just put me in a small room down from ob. My husband leaves to get some breakfast thinking we still had plenty of time. The nurse checked me, she was just calmly like you have no cervix left and water is bulging. She calls from the room to tell everyone to start prepping now. That was the longest time ever. I'm trying to not push and they are trying to do all this stuff At once for me. The pressure gets so unbearable that I naturally have to push. Next thing I feel my water breaks every where. I was like my water broke I have to push. So I'm starting to try and push. The doctor just walks in the room. Just put gloves on didn't have time for anything else. My husband makes it back at the same time. I push two more times and out she comes. Didn't have time for anything. Barely made it to the hospital in time or anything. Definitely was not expecting such a quick birth or anything. Luckily no tears or stitches! So that is the biggest win in my eyes. Chloe Marie born at 7:09am 9 pounds 2 ounces 20 inches long. So glad it is over now!
