My parents really like my ex and invited him there. But, I also want to invite my (maybe) crush-fling. He's older than me by a couple of years so I don't think it'll develop into a relationship but I'd like to get to know him better and enjoy his company.

I don't think you should invite your crush. Seeing as how you're asking us this means it's probably a fresh break up isn't it? I don't think you should invite a rebound guy to your b-day because he's just that, a rebound guy. He's there to fill a void inside you left behind by your ex. Your birthday party should just be you and your friends and your ex if he has agreed to be friends with you. Inviting some new random guy will throw things off between not just you and your ex but your friends as well seeing as how mutual friends are going. The whole day will be awkward and you don't want that. Use some other time to hang out with your little crush, like a random day in the week before your bday or after. Or any other time you can.

Also a bit of advice. Don't get too attached to this new crush of yours, it seems tempting but he is older. Knowing this, he has a lot more freedom than you. Just don't become a conquest for him. He might take advantage of you since you're in such a vulnerable state. So play hard to get, you'll regret it if you let him do anything to you.

Note: My ex is already invited... It'll be awkward if I say not to go because I was initially fine with it, we have mutual friends, and we agreed on being friends. He thinks the break up is temporary though, he wants to get back in a relationship. But I don't.
