So this will be kinda long but I'll try to make it short and simple. Me and my boyfriend are having a baby and I'm 20 he's 22 and he lives in Chicago I live in NY and we tend to visit each other at least once a month we met in school and were soon going to move in together hopefully next year or in the next 2. So he came and visited and his parents made a huge deal his dad was asking him to come here with him and stay in a hotel and asked him several times if this was a good idea. His mom asked him to shorten his trip and he was only staying for 4 days. But he didn't and came and everything was good but his parents make a lot of money and he relies on them for everything money for food,apartment,car,housing, clothes you name it and sometimes I feel like it's ridiculous because his parents use it against him I tell him he can do it without him I've done it and he says "they only want what's best" they call him during school and make sure he does his homework and studies with his dad at night. He wanted to go to this school in Albany and got in and everything and got a scholarship for baseball and his parents are making him do other applications and forcing him to take online classes and all this crap. And he does it and gets frustrated but just keeps saying "they just want the best for me" his father told him to watch out for low income girls trying to mooch off his money. They hate the fact I'm having a baby and I'm not finished with school and won't even give me a chance. It's frustrating I'm taking a year off and making money then doing an LPN program next August. I never give up and I'm more motivated now because of my child. But it's like if I'm not making 600k a year I'm a basically a loser. Idk I need some advice I love him and he claims to stick up for me but idk.
