Low progesterone?

Could I have low progesterone and that's why I can't have a sticky pregnancy? I have had a couple of months that I would get faint pink lines on FRER and then I end up getting AF. We've been trying for about 2 years now.... my cycles were unregular and very heavy until my obgyn put me on birth control to try and regulate my cycles. I've been off of birth control for 6 months now after being on it for 5 months. My cycles have been 24-26 days which is a lot better and not heavy at all.
