Breastfeeding moms - anyone pregnant?

Question

Any moms still breastfeeding their LOs become pregnant? Were your symptoms similar to your first pregnancy? I've been breastfeeding for 8 months and still haven't had a period. I randomly have days I am convinced I'm pregnant but I never test because I'm pretty sure I'm just crazy! 😂

you can get pregnant while breastfeeding, it's a scientific fact, even if the probability is lower than when not breastfeeding. I also still breastfeed and haven't had my period since Feb 2016 😊

no period here yet, my cousin hasn't had one in about 4 years and just had a baby the other day! she just keeps getting pregnant while bf.

I've been wondering this too. My son will be 8 months on the 22nd and we've been kind of trying. I'm still breastfeeding and haven't gotten my period yet, sometimes I'm convinced I'm pregnant then other times I'm like not feeling like it lol

I got pregnant with my November 2016 daughter while breastfeeding my son when he was 8 months old. My period came back with him when I was 11 weeks post partum. This time around my period didn't come back until my daughter was 6 months old and it's been unpredictable. When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter.. my first symptom that I chalked up to my period trying to start.. was really sore & tender nipples while breastfeeding. Then the dizziness & lightheaded started. After that I was over a week late for my period & still didn't think I was pregnant. Thought I was coming down with something but decided to test anyways and sure enough I was pregnant. I'm definitely more careful this time around because I'm done having kids lol.

I'm 8 months and breast feeding. I had lots of crazy pregnancy symptoms and tested all the time. At about 6 months my period hormones finally won over and my cycle came back. They are quite a bit more intense than they ever were before baby and make me feel like crap a lot of the time. Post partum hormones are crazy!!
