Have YOU Ever Cheated? Were You Forgiven?

I see women on here get cheated on and most stay with their partners. I wonder if men are as forgiving as women when it comes to cheating. And why did you do it? Was it a moment of weakness, loneliness, no reason?

You'd be surprised, a lot of posts lately have been of women cheating in relationships. Usually with an excuse like "so drunk."

I'll be honest here. I was a very bad person at one point in time. There hasn't been a single relationship of mine that I didn't cheat on my boyfriend/girlfriend.... I was severely addicted to sex, and for some reason I've always had a hard time being committed to one person. and I hated myself for it. I cheated on the man I'm currently with very early on in our relationship, he didn't find out for a long time but once he did it wasn't good. We've had issues since and even though that was the only time I ever cheated on him he'll still accuse me of it to this day.  But here we are 2 years later, still hanging on. I don't think about cheating on him, I have no desire to be with anyone but him. And I like it that way.

When I was younger (15-16) I had cheated on a boyfriend with an ex boyfriend, I was young and stupid and just basically clinged to whoever gave me attention, I had such a guilty conscious that I told my then boyfriend and he was actually willing to forgive me, but I just couldn't forgive myself and ended the relationship, because me cheating made me realize that I actually didn't value him or even care for him like a girlfriend was supposed to. Now I've realized exactly how something like that feels and I'd never do it again, because I know if it happened to me I'd be absolutely devastated. I cheated MULTIPLE times on my ex husband.  Why is simple.  He was super selfish everything came before myself or our children.  I wouldn't see him for weeks at a time other than to trade the kids off.   I was a single parent in a marriage working full time and going to school most of our marriage.   The final time I cheated on him was with his best friend why well he told me if I ever did it again he would leave me.   Every time I tried to leave he threatened to take our kids ECT ECT and I was scared.   I figured if I could get him to leave then the problem was solved.   However he didn't leave he forgave​ me.  Even after I left for good leaving our children with him because I just couldn't take it all anymore he promised me the world.   We started to work things out and then I was at his house one night and he left his Facebook signed in and uh yeah he had MULTIPLE really gross woman sending him super dirty things to him.  All with no password.  If I could access it that easy so could my children.  That was our final deal breaker and divorce papers were signed 5 weeks later

I kinda cheated in the early stages of my relationship with my then BF now husband I was only 17 years old and I didn't think it we were exclusive let me tell you omg to this day we have been together 15 plus years and occasionally he'll bring it up 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️well when he's drinking so I guess they can forgive but forget is another question..
