Ear Piercing Questions

~ With all due respect, If you're one of those mom's that want your baby to make the decision for herself to have her ears pierced or not when she's older then this is not the post for you. 😊

& I apologize in advance because this post might get really long

I was once that mom but I've changed my mind. & I respect everyone's opinion whether you are for or against it I'm just looking to get answers & don't want this post to turn into an argument.

So when my daughter was a baby my mother in law always insisted we get my baby's ears pierced she insisted so much that she got on my nerves one day so I just told her straight up I'm not going to allow it until she's older and asks me that she wants her ears pierced. I guess at the time I was firm about it and didn't like her pressuring me or thinking she can tell me what to do with my kid but now my daughter is TWO years old &like; I said i've changed my mind and want her to get her ears pierced . Now that I brought it up to my husband he says we should of done it when she was a baby because my girl is a fighter, she will put up a fight when she doesn't want to do something so I know for a fact there's no way in hell she's going to let someone pierce her ears. So I was thinking of taking her to get her ears pierced when she's asleep.

QUESTIONS: vvvvvv

So I have a few questions to those mom's who's baby girls do have their ears pierced

1) was it done with a needle or a gun

2) if done with a gun we're there any complications?

My uncle did mine with a needle when I was 10 and I'm not sure if to ask him to do my daughter's or if I should just take her to get them pierced with a gun. The only reason as to why I prefer the gun is because it's fast but the reasons why I don't want her to get them pierced with a gun is because I heard it damages the tissues (correct me if I'm wrong) and I don't like that it can't be sterilized.

My uncle can do it with the needle but the thing with him is he procrastinates a lot and I want my baby girl to have her ears pierced by this Saturday.

so for you mom's that got their baby girls ears pierced what do you guys think is best ?

any other advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance :)
