Should I get a loose perm?

Any advice? I really have always wanted to get a loose perm for those pretty waves, but I'm not sure how much damage it will cause or if it'll be worth it..

You have good hair. I wouldn't chance it with all the chemicals used in a perm but its ultimately your decision. Have you tried a styling wand for waves?

You can achieve so many different curls with wands. With a perm you get one look.

NEVER. I repeat NEVER get a perm. They will never turn out even close to what you kind of hoped for. Save yourself the money and heartache....

I've been getting one every year since I was 16. The only time it damaged it was when I would dye it at the same time, or use a hot iron a lot after. But just getting a perm by itself did not damage my hair.

No your hair is really pretty and perm will damage it a lot. what I do for waves is 2 French braids every night and put leave in conditioner on each braid so the waves hold a little better

I bleached my hair because it was super healthy and I didn't think it would damage it too much (not the exact same thing but kind of) HA. it's ruined.

I did one on my hair a while ago (2 and a half years) and it RUINED my hair. like it was so brittle and dry. it was cute tho!
