newborn diapers?

how many newborn diapers do you think i should stockpile? also, size 1s? i want to be prepared but i have no idea how many i will need!!! any other essentials i should have ready as well? i don't want to have to run out to the store in the first few weeks. Thanks ladies.

One thing I learned after he baby was born was I did not have enough plain onesies. Everyone concentrates on getting cute outfits, no one thinks of the practical stuff. Also, wash clothes. Can't have too many of those. 
GRIPE WATER. I cannot emphasize enough how much gripe water has saved my life.
And white noise. There are ones that are in stuffed animals. My boy falls right to sleep.

I have no idea. My first is due in 3 weeks. I just have a stockpile of a bunch of sizes, and plan to exchange if I need a size

My daughter was in size NB for over a month. My son only for 3 days. I'd not stock up too much of size NB until baby is born, just in case.

You won't really know what diapers your baby needs until they get here. Each baby is different. My son was in newborns for about 2.5 weeks and has been on size 1 for 4.5 weeks.

I love muslin blankets! They are soft and can be used for anything!! Burp clothes, blankets, swaddling you name it. Don't have to get the expensive ones either. They all work great!!

Are you bottle or breastfeeding? 
Bottle feeding you'll need bottles and formula.
Breastfeeding you'll need lanolin and nipple pads.
For night feedings, I had a basket of snacks and bottled water and a phone charger! 
Wipes! We stock up when they go on sale.
Also prep freezer meals, if you have a crockpot you can prep crockpot meals and just throw them together.
You can also make pads for postpartum, I used big poise pads, spritzed with witch hazel and a thin layer of aloe. You put them in the freezer and they're so soothing.

Oh there's definitely no way of knowing. You could give birth early and the baby stays in newborns longer, or maybe a little later and goes straight into 1.
 I wasn't expecting to go into early labor and my boy stayed in newborn for 3 months.
