opinions on car travel

Hi August Mama's! I'm in need of some advice. I'm 41 years old and my hubby's good friend is hosting a weekend long BBQ about 4 hours from where I live in New Hampshire. I have a 17 month old daughter and am due with a boy on 8/14. 8 hours total in the car (there and back), I'll be 36 weeks on Monday and I'll also have my 17 month old to contend with. I'd like to go mainly because my husband wants to go (his good college buddy is flying in from Houston) and without him it's going to be a tough weekend for me taking care of my daughter alone. my question is should I go or am I crazy for considering driving 4 hours away from home at 36 weeks with a toddler? opinions please!! TIA!!
