Luckily, I'm married and not afraid of an accident baby, so we use the rhythm method and pull out method and for ten years it has worked like a charm. : D Our kids were planned. We did have ONE accidental pregnancy in ten years that ended in miscarriage anyway, and it wasn't really an accident so much as just not paying enough attention to how many days past my period I was and throwing caution to the wind 😬 When I did take Bc the pill made me gain weight and moody, depo made me REALLY gain weight, and mirena made me: puke when they put it in, sex hurt for me and husband, when I begged the doc to take it out a month later it had caused a cyst in my cervix! I have heard only good things about Nuva ring, but never tried it.

IUD and implant are the most effective. Pills are less effective because there is a user error.
