Black lives matter?
This was my comment from someone's post it was really long so I wanted to make a topic. I'd love to hear everyone's opinions about it tho. I'm not up for arguments just discussion and see other points of view:
I'm black and totally agree with. My family is from the islands so I have a different mindset on things. But black people weren't the only oppressed groups. Look at Jews! No seriously! How successful they are. I think oppression is definitely still happening 100% but I think black people hide in that shade for the easier way out. Why can't they rise up? I'm a proud Haitian American and my people were oppressed 105% but they were the first freed Black Country. The country is definitely going through their shit but it was possible. And I have many family that come here and work their asses off because they want something better. I think sometimes black people don't have that drive, at least the group you're talking about. I think it's a hard topic to discuss because people can easily throw in the race card and make you look bad. There's so many videos now I see of people posting a cop doing their job but they gave so much attitude and pulled the race card. And it's truly disgusting. I can sympathize with the families that have lost loved ones due to police brutality but I am against the whole idea of black lives matter now. I think it's completely changed and .. so much to be said I'm sure no ones gonna read it but yes it is a hard topic to talk about
