What was suppose to be my induction day turned into the day our baby girl picked to come into this world! Woke up at 3:30 with some discomfort. I started having full blown contractions at 4:15 so I went and woke my husband up and told him I was trying to let him sleep, but I couldn't anymore. I was having contractions and hurting. We took our time getting to the hospital because I didn't think I was in labor considering I've had false labor 2 or 3 times. So we get here, I get all situated and by this time in pain! Nurse checked me and I was 7 cm dilated! She said well, I don't think you're getting induced! You're in labor! Checked a little later and I was at 8. They asked me if I wanted the epidural and to my surprise I said NO! I had made it this far and wasn't giving up! The doctor broke my water and I got to 9-9 1/2 and felt the urge to push. Started pushing slightly and made it to 10. Pushed for 8 minutes and she was here!They said she was coming pretty much sideways and the cord was wrapped around her neck twice. They had to vacuum assist and hurry up and get her, but she came out like a champ. I'll never forget that feeling when they layed her on my chest! 6 lbs 6 oz! 20 inches long! No epidural! I do have a 2nd degree tear, but it's part of it. So in love with my baby girl ❤
