So when I was pregnant the first time, my parents went back and forth about what they wanted to be called. We ended up with Yaya, and Grumpy at the end of 6 months. All parties were fine with it, and we went on about our lives. Unfortunately, my baby passed away. They know we are trying again, so we were discussing possibilities, like baby showers in the future, nursery ideas, etc. Well they decide, they no longer like those names. To me, this makes no sense, because it's a title, to be used by all grandchildren, but whatever. I told them, I'm not doing this again. I'm not obsessing about it for the next 6 months or longer. They have a choice between Grandma and Grandpa or their original names we've already decided upon. Or they can wait for the first child to start speaking and decide for them. So now they're super butt hurt about it but I just can't do it again. Idk. I feel like they're putting a lot of importance on this and it's not that important. I'm not even sure I'm pregnant. We are in the middle of treatments and we're just talking about hypotheticals.
