How often are you giving your baby cereal?

I started cereal late and so far I've only done oatmeal and I'm unsure of how often most people feed their baby cereal? I'm only giving my daughter like a tablespoon every other day

Cereals are pretty empty calories, honestly. We did purees for a tiny bit- one jar a day or every other day but DD was more interested in table food. She'll still eat a pouch on the go if she does it herself, but mostly she's on table food (and bottles of course.) 
Here's our breakdown: 
7am wake up bottle
9am nap
10am breakfast (waffles today)
11am bottle 
1pm lunch (shredded chicken & leftover rice pilaf from dinner last night) 
3pm bottle & nap
5pm dinner (chopped up whatever we have)
7:30 bottle
8pm bed

We use rice cereal in every bottle. Also he gets flavored cereal for breakfast every morning.

We mix in rice cereal to thicken up her pureed baby food. She loves it!

Never, the iron fortified baby cereals can be a great way to help your baby get extra iron, but it's not as easily absorbed as naturally occurring iron, in our case it really upset my sons tummy, so we don't do it. As another great source of iron our nutritionist recommended hard boiled egg yolks mixed with a little bit of formula or breastmilk to make like a cream or if your baby does finger foods just scrambling the egg yolk.

i did cereals for a short while, but my son was too determined to feed himself ( after about a week haha) and now only eats what he can feed himself more or less.

My daughter eats three times a day (in addition to nursing/bottles). Two of those meals are "regular" foods like eggs and toast and one meal is a "smoothie" that I make her that includes plain yogurt, fruit purée, and oatmeal. Any reason you're limiting her intake?
