Social media announcement?

I'm due in a couple of weeks and I get screen shots daily from friends who are announcing their pregnancies. I kind of feel like I'm missing that part of the experience but I've had such a happy and off the grid pregnancy that I'm apprehensive to share. This might just be FOMO but should I go back on social media and post some of my pictures?

I'm 36 weeks and never once have I breathed a word about my pregnancy on social media. Anyone special in my life already knows and I don't think my Facebook "friends" really need to be in the loop. We may post an announcement when she's born, but it will be without a picture since we want to keep her free of social media too. 
I personally am in the camp that you don't have to share everything online that you wouldn't put in a newspaper. I.E., a birth announcement is fine, but why post maternity photos or gender reveal info? No one really cares outside of family, and those people can get the pics and news directly from you.

I would say do what I'm doing. 
This is my soon to be 4th successful pregnancy but 5th pregnancy total. I know some people who know me like my dad won't be happy and a few friends will try to make a big fuss but not follow through in the end.
So I'm hiding it from everyone I stay online but I talk about any and everything that doesn't even give a hint that I'm pregnant.
My plan is it deliver and post my super secret maternity photos once my little baby arrives and then people can see that. And then they may not see the baby picture until he or she is maybe 2-3 months old.
I did it with my first child and wanted to bring it back lol. I do things in a very different way so people never know what to expect.

i'm 36 +3 and still haven't announced. of course my family knows, but i'm not pressed to post on FB. i probably will post after she's born. but i may not. just go with the flow

We kept it secret until about 13 weeks, then we announced it to my viewers (I livestream art weekly) and before that we just told our parents and siblings. Most people still don't know and I'm 32 weeks. We are very private people so we don't really want to make a big fuzz out of it.
